Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cyberleak Studios ("we", "us") handles information on this website and in our app Orbland for Android and iPhone/iPad. The Orbland section below follows the Orbland app privacy policy (opens in a new tab); if anything differs, that policy controls for the app and we will update both together.
Who we are
Cyberleak Studios is an independent studio operated by James Welch in North Carolina, USA. Contact: cyberleakstudios@gmail.com.
This website
- No accounts, forms, analytics, ads or embeds. The site has no sign-up, no contact form, no analytics or tracking tools, no advertising and no embedded third-party content.
- No cookies. The site does not set cookies or use similar storage. See our Cookie Policy.
- Fonts. The site uses the Inter and Space Grotesk typefaces, which are distributed through Google Fonts. We host the font files on our own site, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts when you visit.
- Hosting. Like any website, the server that delivers our pages receives technical information your browser sends, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the page. Hosting provider: Netlify, Inc..
- Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to reply.
- Do Not Track. Because this website does not track visitors over time or across other sites, there is nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal to turn off, and the site works the same either way. We do not allow third parties to track visitors on this site.
- Links. Links to other sites (for example the Orbland web build, Google or Apple) are governed by those sites' own policies.
Orbland app
- No accounts or personal details: you don't need an account to play, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts, or location.
- Game data stays on your device: scores, coins, unlocks and settings are saved only in your device's local app storage. We don't run any servers, so we never receive this information.
- No analytics or crash reporting: Orbland has no analytics and no crash-reporting tools of our own.
- Sharing your score: if you tap Share, the score image only goes where you choose to share it.
Ads in Orbland (Google AdMob)
Orbland shows one small banner ad on the Home screen, supplied by Google AdMob. To show and measure the ad and prevent fraud, Google's ad software may collect your device's advertising identifier, your IP address (which can estimate your general location), how you interact with ads and the app, and basic diagnostic information. This goes directly to Google, not to us, and is covered by Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings, or choose "Ask App Not to Track" on iPhone/iPad.
In-app purchase
Orbland offers one optional, one-time "Remove ads" purchase, processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Your payment details go only to Google or Apple; we never see them. See our Refund Policy.
Selling or sharing
We do not collect, store, or sell personal information.
Children
Orbland is family-friendly but made for a general audience, not specifically for young children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Google's ad software may collect device identifiers from anyone who plays, including children. Parents can prevent ad-related collection by buying "Remove ads," turning off ad personalization, or choosing "Ask App Not to Track." Concerns: cyberleakstudios@gmail.com.
Deleting your data
Orbland game data lives only on your device. You can reset it in Orbland's Options or by uninstalling the app. We hold no copy, so there's nothing for us to delete. If you emailed us and want that email deleted, ask us at cyberleakstudios@gmail.com.
Security
Game data is protected by your device's own security. According to Google, data collected by its ad software is encrypted while it's sent.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, we'll update this policy and the effective date, and mention important app changes in the app's update notes.
